Our local knitwear evolved over the centuries from the harsh local climate and North Sea industries powering our town. A Bosie knit is a comforting, warm hug from an authentic and ancestral heritage we take pride in.

Beautiful sweater with lovely quality and details. The color and craftsmanship are even nicer in person. However, I found that it runs on the smaller side. I would recommend sizing up if you prefer a little extra room. Overall, a beautiful piece.

Size medium is true to the chart (104cm/41in circumference). The flecky pattern is beautiful and the thickness of this sweater doesn't make me overheat indoors.

Every brushed Shetland is made to order on our vintage 1950s brushing machines, fitted with natural teasels: the dried seed heads of a thistle. The teasels gently tease up the wool for a soft, shaggy finish, which is exactly how they got their name. You choose how far we go.
